Role Description: Administration Volunteer

About the Role: As a Volunteer Administrator for ASIST you will help provide general administrative duties around the office including phone cover, referral management and responding to emails and queries.

The role will be flexible between the days of Monday to Friday in the working hours of 9am to 5pm.

Skills and Experience:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Being able to adapt communication to meet the needs of the person.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental attitude.
  • Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage your time effectively.
  • To be able to build a good understanding of the service’s offered by ASIST to judge referral eligibility and offer appropriate support and guidance.
  • Previous experience of working with vulnerable adults is desirable, but not essential.
  • A good standard of written English is essential.
